Should you buy Iraqi Dinar?

This one question is asked of me time and again, so much so that I decided to dedicate a page to the answer.

First, let me reword the question to

Do you think buying the Iraqi Dinar is a good investment strategy?

Answer:

No, I don't think it is a good investment.

I did buy Iraqi Dinar many years ago and it hasn't done a thing. I felt pressured and made a rash decision. I recently bought 25,000 from my local bank, but I did this so that I could include the details in my ebook, not as an investment.

If you buy Dinar and do so thinking of it as a lottery ticket (with bad odds) or purchase it as a novelty item, then go for it, but I wouldn't buy much of it if you do.

Dinar Risk Factor

I play things safe and don't like a lot of risk - Iraq's currency is very risky. Others who can tolerate more risk than I may have a different viewpoint on buying Dinar as an investment.

In the end, it all depends on your tolerance for risk - just make sure you are informed before you move forward!
